Comments: Fantastic service from everyone we dealt with

The outboard, something bigger than a 2.5 hp motor would be preferable, but I can understand why only a small engine is provided.

Yacht condition was excellent except the blocked toilet, which we believe may have been blocked from the start. It just took a day or so for the tank to fill before we realise there was a problem. We had four toilets so it wasn't really an issue.

Route wise, our only criticism was that we went to the same spot between Anti Paros and Paros twice and we would have preferred something different on the way back particularly as it wasn't a great location in comparison to some of the other places visited. Having to spend two nights in Paros was also a little disappointing but once we discovered the entire island on scooters on our return we realized it wasn't so bad. Overall though we thought the choice of locations was excellent. It was a good mix of busy tourist areas and more authentic local ports.

Comments: Our experience sailing in Greece was fantastic, this wasn't the first time sailing in Greece but it was the first experience as skipper alone. All group, six adults, is very pleased with the sailing trip and this is not easy if you have 3 children around two years old each one on board. The most important thing in this kind of holidays is to contact with a serious company in order to have the boat ready when you arrive and to have the support of this company in case this is necessary during the trip. The Islandsailing company with Yannis as leader/coordinator did give us that support and did respond rapidly when we needed them.

We are very grateful and for sure we are going to repeat this great experience. There are still a lot of beautiful places to be descovered!

Comments: Not enough sailing but we understabd that the winds were too strong sometimes. Maybe have some basic products on board when arrive: toilet paper, sponge, dish soap...

if you are expected sugestions, these would be mine:

-People should attend us at arrivals time. ( Was not the case)
-Boat should be ready on time (was not ready until 19h30, even it was supposed to be around 17h.)
-Island Sailing could offer a basic pack of Water, cleaning kit, and extra towels ( As one per person for a week, is not enough), at fair price. this could make things easier for your customer.
-Customer should be able to doble check Water and Gasoil level, befor to go. ( Our water deposit was not full , even it was showing 100% on the board ). It is not posible to go for a trip without doble check by ourselves.

I have to thank you for your help regarding the car arrangment at our arrival, in order to drive back to Athens.
Overall experience was positive, and we may come back to visit you next June, for the Cyclades.

We spent excellent 6 days sailng the cyclades. We were 3 cpouples and the skipper. Everything went all right and IslandSailing helped us to have a wonderful time. Ever since we contacted Yannis, he helped us with all the information we needed. He even helped us to get tickets of the ferry to reach Paros from Athens.

I can recommand you and your company ( it is the second time I started from Paros ).

My trip was : 1) Naxos 2) Iraklia 3) Amorgos 4) Skinousa 5) Naousa 6) Paros

What else ? a visit to fhe monastery in Amorgos and a lunch in Drima and many good restaurants!

The 10 persons group arrived in Athen under the rain and the meteo was annoucing 6 beaufort... quite disapointing for our 9 days holidays supposingly under the sun and warm Greak spring.
But it turned into one of the most beautiful week in our long history of sailing.

The taxi was there, the owner of the boat as well, helping by adding profusion of equipment and supplies a,d briefing us on every corner of the navigation zone.

With 4 of us having North sea and Britanny experience in winter... we took the sea with humility but fearless... and the Nautitech reacted with strengh and security. We didn't sail with less than 6 beaufort, sometimes with 35 Kn wind... and the hot lunch was still prepared while sailing !

So, Athen to Paros was a nice journey, and the atmosphere was very nice, thanks to the comfort of the well prepared boat.

On arrival, the owner was there, and the brooker as well, helping with formalities, ferry return ticket etc...

Just a tailored service I will recommend to anybody .

Back in Spain and missing sailing, Greece and your beautiful seas.

It was a fantastic trip, much of it thanks to you, to Jason and the simple but reliable way in whcih you organised it with such a short notice. It is rare in my experince to find in the sailing world serious proffesionals such as yourself able to deliver everything just by means of a couple a telephone conversations and a few emails two days before while provideng flexibility and reliability.
As per our captain, Jason, you were very right. I can confirm that despite his youth he is a full fledged captain and besides an excellent sailing companion and a friend. It was a pleasure having him on board. I trully hope this will be the first time of others to come Yannis, and that we will have soon the opportunity to organize more sailing together.

I just came home from the trip and we have been very pleased with the whole service... The owner talked about an engine that did not work but as i told him it was bad from the beginning so no problem. But about the deposit we agreed on 1800 because that was what you had wrote me. I got all of my deposit back

Just got back to Wellington on Tuesday this week, and back to work too - unfortunately.

Just wanted to thank you for all your help and attention with the arrangements for our recent sailing holiday. We had an absolutely fantastic time, that week was definitely the highlight of our month away. Everything went so smoothly and was so well organised it made the experience a real pleasure and so very easy for us. Our appreciation also to Afros for their assistance.

Dear Yannis,

Good morning from Barcelona!

It was a trip we won't forget. It was a great experience even when we suffered in the sea the "meltemi".

The boat was over our spectations so it allowed us to live inside comfortable. It was easy to handle and very practical.

The services were great also, including your good advices that allowed us to chose the best seaways to take.

In the end we traveled from Paros to Mykonos, then Syros, Kythnos and Athens, stopping at marinas or anchoring in good places. The GPS aboard was very useful to do that because it told us if the anchor had movement or not.

We couldn't have the chance to sail enough because we passed from no wind to meltemi... but we hope that next time we could chose a better time and weather.

There is not mykonos marina where to pay to stay at night. It didn't work the powerline but we could refuel and rewater there. At Syros, marina was just 2,72 euros each night but they gently didn't take the extra 2 days we had to stay there. At Kythons, the Loutra Marina is small but a beautiful place. Also was a free night there. The arrival to Athens' marina was easy but we didn't see that the place to park the yatch was at the end of the pier so we had to park twice. Was easy :) Big marina.

Well, I guess this is a really brief resume. I hope you didn't worry very much for us... we really appreciated your help.
