Cyclades - Santorini, the Vlikadha approaches

The sailing boat marina is located at the south end of the island of Santorini ( Thira ) in the south Cyclades. The area is called Vlikadha, located quarter of a mile west of cape Exomiti.

Approaching to the marina care is needed due to the old breakwaters, now underwater and the associated rocks and reefs.

The port at Vlikadha at Santorini

Vlikadha offers the best shelter on Thira ( Santorini ). The entrance of the port is a bit tricky with a reef on northeast side. You can keep closer to the outer breakwater.

There are some tavernas and a hotel in walking distance.

Water, electricity and fuel is available.

You can make your way to Fira, the main town, either by bus and taxi or renting a bike or car.
